just realized most people don't know what bank is cash app with lol. turns out it's actually two banks - Lincoln Savings Bank and Sutton Bank. both are FDIC insured so your money's protected up to $250k which is pretty solid.
was trying to figure out what bank is cash app with because i needed to set up direct deposit and was confused why it wasn't just one bank. apparently square partnered with both to handle different services. the routing numbers are different depending on which one processes your transaction.
if you ever need the actual bank details, sutton bank is in ohio and lincoln savings is in iowa. both have been around for ages so they're legit institutions, not some random fintech thing.
anyway, knowing what bank is cash app with actually matters if you're doing direct deposits or need to verify stuff. way more useful than i thought honestly. anyone else just using cash app without knowing this?
