The U.S. military claims that implementing the maritime blockade against Iran has caused 45 commercial ships to change course.
According to the U.S. Central Command on May 1 local time, U.S. forces continue to patrol in international waters and carry out maritime blockade operations against Iran. The U.S. side stated that so far, 45 commercial ships have been asked to turn around or return to port to ensure compliance with relevant restrictions.
