Iranian Revolutionary Guard: Will reshape Persian Gulf governance rules according to the Supreme Leader's instructions

Golden Finance reports that on May 2nd, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy Headquarters issued a statement on the evening of May 1st local time, stating that, according to the instructions of Iran’s Supreme Leader, “new management rules and plans for the Persian Gulf will be formulated and implemented.” The statement said that the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, through control and jurisdiction over Iran’s nearly 2,000 kilometers of coastline in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, “will provide livelihood security for Iran and the entire region, bringing security and prosperity to the area.” (Cailian Press)
