I just reviewed an interesting ranking of the top 20 most important currencies in the world, and it caught my attention how they are distributed. The dollars dominate quite a bit, right? The US dollar is in the top 10, but there are other currencies I didn't expect to be so high.
The curious thing is to see how the Gulf dinars (Kuwaiti, Bahraini, Omani) are in the top positions. The Kuwaiti dinar leads, followed by the Bahraini and the Omani. Then come the British pound, the Cayman Islands dollar, the Jordanian dinar... The Swiss franc and the euro also hold their weight in this ranking of the 20 most important currencies.
From the Canadian dollar to the Brazilian real, there's a whole range of currencies that reflect each country's economic stability. It's interesting to see how Asian and Pacific currencies are also positioned. Definitely, this data is useful for understanding the relative strength of different global economies.
