Recently, I saw those "coincidental transfer" screenshots again: A just finished transferring, B starts moving right after, and the comment section immediately jumps to conspiracy theories... I usually hold back my emotions first and break it down into several explainable scenarios: multiple addresses layered by the same person (such as hot and cold wallets), chain reactions caused by CEX consolidation/change addresses, and intermediary transfers in contract interactions (routers/multisigs) that extend the trace. Last week, I reviewed a third similar case and found that many "synchronizations" are actually multiple internal calls within the same transaction, which visually appear as consecutive transfers. Recently, some regions have increased taxes and tightened compliance, causing deposit and withdrawal expectations to change, and on-chain collection/diversion will become more frequent. Don’t jump to assume it's a whale pump right away... It’s better to clarify the path first before criticizing.
