Recently, dealing with multi-chain wallets has been overwhelming, assets scattered like grains of rice: one chain needs gas, another chain has an NFT, and in DeFi, there are still some small stakings... At night, I check my balances, clearly not losing much, but it just looks messy, and my mood collapses first. A few days ago, that mainstream public chain needed an upgrade/maintenance, and everyone in the group was guessing whether the ecosystem would move away. I also got a bit anxious and almost impulsively decided to uninstall and exit a certain wallet to avoid the hassle of constantly watching it.

In the end, I held back and set a simple plan for myself: keep only one "main wallet" as the master account, treat other chains as temporary workers, use them and then clear them; once a week, on a fixed night, copy transaction records and balances, and also consolidate small amounts onto the same chain. I don’t aim for perfection, at least I won’t get myself lost. Honestly, having many wallets isn’t the problem; what’s messy is my brain... That’s it for now.
