I spent quite a bit of time exploring artificial intelligence solutions for trading, and honestly, there are several free tools that are really worth it if you want to get started without spending a dime.

As a solid foundation, TradingView is essential. It’s not 100% AI, but smart indicators and the ability to write scripts in Pine Script to automate your strategies really change the game. The cool thing is that you can backtest your strategies before deploying them. The free version already offers a lot of features, even though the pro version unlocks more advanced tools.

If you want AI that really does the heavy lifting on analysis, TrendSpider automatically detects price patterns, trend lines, Fibonacci levels... It’s automated technical analysis with alerts on signals. The free version is limited but enough to get started. Then, if you want more powerful AI, there’s the paid version.

For those interested in on-chain data and market psychology, Tuner AI offers a different approach. The AI analyzes on-chain data and suggests entry points based on what it detects. It’s free at the basic level, with a premium version if you want more.

Then, there’s pure automated trading. CryptoHopper uses AI to optimize your strategies, and you can connect it to several major exchanges. The free plan exists but with limits on the number of transactions. Same for 3Commas, which offers automated DCA and Grid Trading with AI to manage risks and maximize profits. Again, the free version is limited in the number of bots.

In the end, it all depends on what you’re really looking for: do you want full automated trading, AI-assisted technical analysis, or just signals to help you make decisions? Free tools already cover a lot of ground. Personally, I think it’s good to try several before deciding if you need to go premium.
