MoonPay launches virtual Mastercard debit card, supporting AI-powered agents to pay with stablecoins
Golden Finance reports that on May 2nd, MoonPay officially launched the MoonAgents virtual Mastercard debit card, allowing AI smart agents to directly use stablecoins from crypto wallets for payments at all online merchants that support Mastercard. The card automatically converts cryptocurrencies to fiat currency during transactions, without the need for pre-deposited funds; users can revoke the AI agent’s spending authorization at any time.
Currently, the card is available in the UK and Latin America, with plans to expand to the United States and the European Union in the coming months. Application requires identity verification.
