Recently, everyone has been talking about data availability, ordering, finality—there are a bunch of terms that can actually scare people away. To put it simply, I’m focusing on one main thread: whether the balance/transactions you see are reliable and how long it takes to be considered "really" confirmed. Cross-chain bridges getting hacked is essentially “thinking it’s already real, but it’s not,” and then everyone is just patching the holes afterward. The abnormal quote from the oracle that time was the same—people in the group were all saying “wait for confirmation,” and I actually think this consensus is quite healthy.

Forget it, speaking plainly: don’t just look at whether things can be fast, but also consider who takes the blame when something goes wrong and whether you have a way out. In my own exit plan, I include “it’s okay if confirmation is a bit slower” as a cost, preferring to earn a little less rather than relying on luck to survive. That’s all for now.
