The White House announced that military actions against Iran are "over."



The Donald Trump administration believes that the requirement for U.S. Congress approval for military actions against Iran is no longer valid, as the war effectively ended with the start of the ceasefire.

"Military actions that began on February 28, 2026, ended with the start of the ceasefire," states a letter sent to House Speaker Mike Johnson.
