Trump Claims Iran Will Not Acquire Nuclear Weapons

On May 2, U.S. President Trump once again criticized Spain and Italy, believing that both countries are insufficiently supportive of U.S. military actions in Iran, and claimed that these countries must “think it is acceptable for Iran to have nuclear weapons.” “I am not happy with Italy, and I am not happy with Spain,” Trump stated. He added, “Anyone who thinks it is okay for Iran to have nuclear weapons is not very wise. If they are allowed to have nuclear weapons, the world will face unprecedented problems, but that will never happen.” (Jinshi)
