These days, reading governance proposals has been giving me eye strain, and my neck is a bit stiff... To be honest, delegated voting was originally meant to be convenient, but the more I delegate, the more it feels like I'm handing the steering wheel to a few people. Who exactly do governance tokens govern? Sometimes it feels like they govern the "participation sense" of ordinary people—votes are cast, but in the end, it still depends on how big players and institutions line up.
Recently, with extreme fee rates, there's been a debate in the group about whether to reverse or continue squeezing the bubble. I'm actually more concerned about this: when emotions run high like this, people are less willing to review proposals themselves, and just hand their votes to the "expert," making oligarchic control even smoother... Anyway, I now only choose the L2 projects I’ve actually used, delegate less, take it slow, and don’t get swayed by the noise. That’s all for now.
