I used to stare at funding rates and OI until my eyes ached, thinking that if I just kept my position size under control, I’d be safe; but now I’m actually even more afraid of those hidden landmines like “unlimited contract/wallet authorization.” Put simply, leaving authorization in place is like not closing the door before you sleep—just because nothing happens in the daytime doesn’t mean things won’t go wrong at night.

Recently, yet another cross-chain bridge got stolen from, and there were oracle errors too—everyone was basically there “waiting to see the confirmation.” I got spooked for a moment as well: the market can wait, but permissions won’t expire on their own. Anyway, now I’m used to switching strategies and tidying up my authorizations after I’m done with a DApp—set a reminder too, bundling it with my position-reduction alerts. Yeah, I’m anxious, but if tools can help cut the risk down a bit, I’ll cut it first.
