Recently, I saw some discussions about Trump's background, and actually his education and experience are quite interesting. This 45th President of the United States was born in 1946 in Queens, New York. In his early years, because he couldn't sit still, his parents sent him to the New York Military Academy at age 13. There, he performed quite well, excelling academically and being a sports star, even becoming a student leader.

After graduating from military school in 1964, Trump first attended Fordham University for two years, then transferred to the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, majoring in real estate. During his studies, he spent every summer helping his father manage the real estate business, so he was gaining practical experience while studying. After earning a bachelor's degree in economics in 1968, he directly joined his father's company.

Since then, his business legend began. In 1971, he took over the company and renamed it The Trump Organization, starting large-scale real estate development. In 1974, he bought the land of the bankrupt New York Central Railroad, which later became a conference center. In 1975, he spent $10 million to acquire an old hotel near Grand Central Station, using ultra-low-interest loans and tax incentives to build the Hyatt Hotel within five years, marking an important milestone in his real estate career.

Interestingly, this guy later ventured into cross-industry investments—casinos, shipping, football teams, boxing matches, and even beauty pageants. In 1984, he spent $200 million to build Trump Tower, and in 1985, he bought Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach. It all looked glamorous, but during the 1990 recession, he also faced difficulties; his assets dropped from $1.7 billion to $500 million, and he was burdened with nearly $4 billion in debt.

However, he later made a comeback. By 1994, he paid off $900 million in debt, and then continued to dabble in real estate, entertainment, sports, and other fields. Starting in 2000, he entered the presidential race, and in 2015, he officially announced his candidacy as a Republican. In November 2016, he was elected president, and he took office on January 20, 2017. During his tenure, he implemented the "America First" policy, taking actions in tax cuts, trade, and diplomacy. He failed to be re-elected in 2020, gave a farewell speech in 2021, but in November 2022, he announced his run for the 2024 presidential election again.

Interestingly, in March 2024, his Trump Media & Technology Group went public on NASDAQ, causing his net worth to soar nearly $5 billion, entering Bloomberg's top 400 global billionaires for the first time. He has also published more than a dozen books, with his autobiography "The Art of the Deal" being named the best-selling book of the year. In 2016, he was also named Time magazine's Person of the Year. Looking at his entire journey—from military school to Wharton, then to his business empire and political stage—he is indeed a quite legendary figure.
