Jadi tadi aku coba setup BEP-20 wallet di Metamask dan Trust Wallet, dan ternyata banyak yang bingung soal ini. Sebenarnya konsepnya gampang kok. Intinya, kalau kamu mau transaksi atau nyimpan token di BNB Chain, kamu butuh alamat wallet yang kompatibel dengan standar BEP-20. Ini mirip seperti ERC-20 di Ethereum, setiap blockchain punya standar tokennya sendiri.
Metamask sama Trust Wallet itu dua pilihan bagus karena keduanya support multiple blockchain, jadi kamu bisa handle alamat ERC-20 dan BEP-20 di satu tempat. Gak perlu repot buka aplikasi berbeda-beda.
Kalau pakai Metamask, caranya sih straightforward. Pertama buka wallet Metamask kamu, login, terus cari network switcher di pojok kiri atas. Di sana kamu bisa pilih BNB Chain kalau udah ada. Tapi kalau belum, kamu perlu add manual dengan masukkan beberapa detail: nama jaringan "Binance Smart Chain", Chain ID "56", simbol "BNB", sama RPC URL. Setelah itu, tinggal switch ke BNB Chain dan klik detail akun untuk lihat alamat BEP-20 wallet kamu. Gampang banget.
Trust Wallet juga punya cara yang mirip tapi interface-nya agak beda tergantung pakai versi browser atau mobile. Kalau mobile, kamu tinggal launch app, add token, pilih BNB Smart Chain, terus cari koin BNB. Klik receive dan boom, alamat BEP-20 wallet kamu udah muncul. Kalau browser extension, prosesnya sama tapi flow-nya agak beda.
Sebenernya yang penting itu konsisten dengan jaringan yang kamu pilih. Jangan sampe mixing up alamat, karena BEP-20 wallet hanya bisa terima token standar BEP-20. Kalau kamu kirim token dari blockchain lain ke alamat BEP-20 kamu, bisa hilang. Jadi harus hati-hati. Tapi setelah setup pertama kali, kedepannya tinggal copy-paste alamat aja. Praktis.
