Dormant Ethereum Wallets Lose About 260 ETH in Drain Affecting More Than 500 Addresses
More than 500 dormant Ethereum wallets were drained of over 260 ETH, worth roughly $600,000, after years of inactivity. The losses appear to total about $800,000, and many of the affected wallets had been idle for four to eight years. The funds moved to a common tagged address, but the compromise path remains unresolved.
