Labor Day holiday, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Zhuhai Highway Port experiences a peak in arrivals
During the May Day holiday, mainland cultural and tourism activities are colorful and vibrant, with residents of Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan showing high enthusiasm for leisure shopping and travel. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Zhuhai port has experienced peak inbound passenger and vehicle flow. Since April 29, as of 4 p.m. on May 1, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge border inspection station has inspected a total of 226k inbound and outbound passengers and 52k vehicles. According to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge border inspection station’s forecast, during the May Day holiday, the overall inbound and outbound passenger flow at the port will show a trend of “high first, then steady,” with an average of 129k passengers per day, and the single-day peak may exceed 150k passengers. Vehicle flow at the port will also remain high, with the highest peak expected on May 3, reaching about 28k vehicles in a single day. (Voice of the Greater Bay Area)
