Lately, I've been watching everyone speculate about whether there will be a major migration before or after a mainstream blockchain upgrade/hard fork.

But I actually want to pause first: stop analyzing candlestick charts, stop chasing narratives, stop messing with routing parameters.
Honestly, many terms (data availability, ordering, finality) sound intimidating, but you only need to focus on one main thread—
Who is first to order your transaction, whether the data can be verified by others, and how long it takes to truly finalize.
For someone like me who focuses on fee structures, a change in ordering might mean paying an extra invisible fee, and a slower finality makes arbitrage experiments more prone to failure.
Anyway, during upgrade periods, I’ll reduce my positions, pay more attention to on-chain congestion and routing splits, and avoid pushing myself too hard.
