According to CoinDesk, in April 2026, crypto venture capital funding fell to $659 million, the lowest monthly total since 2024, down 74% from $2.6 billion in March. This decline reflects a weakening of investor interest in crypto startups and early-stage companies. To date, the total investment in 2026 has reached $5.64 billion. The total funding in April was the lowest level since July 2024, when crypto projects raised $622 million. As the crypto market continues to face pressure amid reduced liquidity and risk appetite, venture investors are becoming more selective.
