These days, I've come across a bunch of testnet incentives and point expectations again, and the group is guessing every day whether the mainnet will issue tokens. To be honest, when I see "one-click authorization with unlimited limits" now, I get a warning similar to before feeling sleepy: not revoking is like not turning off the lights or locking the door, you can sleep but it feels uneasy inside.
I really enjoy watching the old protocol revival sets, but authorization isn't new or old; a slip of the hand giving unlimited access, even if the project doesn't run away later, a loophole in the contract is enough to give you a headache. My current habit is: revoke after use, or simply give a small amount, it's a bit more trouble but peace of mind.
Recently, I also lowered my expectations: treat the testnet as a trial, and the points as if they don't exist. It's more relaxed and makes sleeping easier. That's it for now.
