So, I saw that Jack Altman has just been appointed as a general partner at Benchmark. I don't know if you know him, but this is a big move in the venture capital world. Bloomberg mentioned it on X, and apparently this move comes after Altman decided to go independent with Alt Capital, which he founded a couple of years ago when he started investing full-time.
Honestly, adding a guy like Jack Altman to a historic VC firm like Benchmark makes sense. The guy has already proven he knows how to navigate the industry, and Benchmark probably wants to strengthen its investment team. Curious to see how this will change the company's investment strategies. What do you think, is this a good partnership?
