I'm now looking at contract authorization, which is as routine as sleeping: not doing it won't cause immediate problems, but eventually you'll have to pay up. In the past, to save trouble, whenever I needed to authorize, I would click "Unlimited," thinking I'll deal with it later. As a result, my wallet is filled with permissions from old dApps, like an open faucet that isn't turned off—quiet but always there.
Recently, everyone compares RWA, US bond yields, and on-chain yield products together. I actually care more about that underlying question of "who am I authorizing to?" No matter how beautiful the returns are, if permissions are open, the risk isn't offset by the yield. To put it simply, revoking permissions is like locking the door—maybe a two-minute hassle, but you'll sleep more peacefully. If you're as lazy as I am, just set a weekly cleanup, for now.
