I just realized that many people are still not clear about the symbols for quantities on the exchange. I also used to be confused when I first started. Actually, understanding what 1B means is simple — it’s 1 billion, which is 1 billion units of currency or tokens.
Other characters follow the same rule. 1K is thousand, 1M is million, 1E is 100 million, 1T is trillion. Knowing exactly what 1B and other units mean makes it much easier to read charts, view volume, or market cap. No need to calculate each digit anymore; just quickly estimate the number.
A few times I confused M and B because I thought they were abbreviations for different things, which led to misreading the data. Now, every time I see these symbols, I know immediately — it’s extremely convenient for analyzing data on the platform.
