Lately, I’ve been so careful about clicking the “confirm” on cross-chain bridges—my hands even feel like they’re pressing ever so gently—but my heart is tight to the point of panic… Multi-signature sounds solid, but the truth is it just means “a few people agreeing together.” Having more people doesn’t mean they won’t mess up; oracles are the same. The moment you feed them the wrong data, no matter how many confirmations you wait for, you can’t undo it. Now when I cross the bridge, it’s basically small amounts in multiple batches. I’d rather go slower and wait for a few more on-chain confirmations before moving—at least that lowers the chances of getting rolled back or getting stuck, and I can sleep more peacefully.

My partner also complained about me: “You click confirm like you’re defusing a bomb.” I want to stay calm too… Lately, there’s been more back-and-forth about rate-cut expectations and the US Dollar Index. Risk assets rise together and fall together—at times like this, I’m even more afraid something goes wrong on the bridge side. Anyway, first protect your life: if I can avoid bridging, I just won’t bridge.
