U.S. Department of Defense Reaches Agreements with 7 AI Companies

On May 1, the U.S. Department of Defense announced in a statement that it has reached agreements with seven leading artificial intelligence companies: SpaceX, OpenAI, Google, NVIDIA, Reflection, Microsoft, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The statement noted, ‘These agreements accelerate the transformation process of the U.S. military, aiming to establish it as an ‘AI-dominant’ combat force and enhance its ability to maintain decision-making superiority across all domains of warfare.’
