I noticed an interesting trend - at the beginning of this year, the wealthiest people in the world reached simply incredible levels. We're talking about hundreds of billions of dollars accumulated in the hands of tech entrepreneurs. This is not just a numerical increase - it's a qualitative leap.

Elon Musk has taken a position that no one else has held before - his wealth is estimated at $726 billion. This is a historic record. And the growth is not accidental - SpaceX has skyrocketed in valuation, Starlink is expanding, Tesla maintains its position, plus influence in AI and neurotechnology. The combo turned out to be powerful.

Following him are other tech giants. Larry Page with his stake in Google - about $270 billion, Jeff Bezos with Amazon - $255 billion. Then Sergey Brin, Larry Ellison, Mark Zuckerberg, Bernard Arnault, Steve Ballmer, Jensen Huang, and Warren Buffett. The richest people in the world are practically the entire list of tech magnates and platform creators.

What fuels this explosion? First, artificial intelligence - it simply took off. Cloud computing also yields profits. Space and semiconductors are new frontiers where valuations are growing exponentially. And yes, American tech companies are dominating like never before. Those who held stocks from the very beginning and didn't sell are the ones reaping the harvest now.

Interestingly, this is not just paper wealth driven by speculation. It’s a fundamental shift in the economy toward technology and innovation. The richest people in the world now are those who built the infrastructure of the future.
