I’ve been lurking in the group for a long time, but I can’t help but say this: see whether the project team is actually working seriously. I actually pay less attention to the milestones they draw on their roadmap—instead, I look at how the treasury money is spent. To put it plainly, the spending structure is more honest than the roadmap. Ongoing expenses like development, security audits, and infrastructure have receipts and a steady rhythm. Conversely, if they start by dumping a big chunk into marketing and all kinds of “ecosystem collaborations,” and the code repository hasn’t moved for a week, then I basically mark them off in my mind.

One more small point: don’t just look at how beautifully the milestones are written—look at whether the “deliverables can be externally verified.” For example, contract addresses, audit reports, version releases, and governance proposal execution records. If they match up, that’s enough. Recently, rumors about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and depegging have been repeatedly forwarded, and everyone’s emotions are running high. But right now, I’d rather return to the most basic questions: where is the money, where is the code, and who is responsible… In any case, first get these aligned, and don’t let that anxiety-driven rhythm in the group carry you along.
