I noticed an interesting point in the news — just recently, Trump commented on Iran's nuclear weapons. The essence is simple: Iran acquiring nuclear weapons is completely unacceptable for the U.S.. It's not just words — there is serious concern from the administration behind it.
Basically, the tension between the U.S. and Iran over nuclear issues is not new, but it periodically escalates. The American side constantly pressures Iran not to develop nuclear ambitions. All rhetoric boils down to one thing — strict measures are needed to prevent the development of nuclear weapons in the region.
It seems to me that this is one of those issues where the U.S. stance remains unchanged regardless of changes in administration. The issue of nuclear weapons and their proliferation has always been a red line. Especially when it comes to Iran and its nuclear programs.
U.S. policy towards Iran remains tough, and it seems this will not change in the near future. Geopolitics in the region remains unstable, and such statements only confirm the seriousness of the approach to controlling nuclear proliferation.
