These days, meme coins are heating up again, and the group chat is full of "Narrative is coming, hurry up and hop on."
Right now, I basically finalize my stop-loss plan first and then confirm: honestly, when things are lively, it's easiest to mistake "I'll wait a bit longer" as a strategy, but the result is just holding on until there's no liquidity.
My approach is pretty crude — before entering, I think about how much loss I can accept if I get caught out, then set a conditional order or sell in batches, rather than panic adjusting when things go wrong.
Also, that main public chain isn't about to upgrade/maintain soon, and everyone is guessing whether the ecosystem will migrate.
I don't really believe "migration = immediate takeoff," but I care more about whether the transaction ordering gets messy during those few minutes, and whether slippage suddenly amplifies.
The more critical these nodes are, the more you should give yourself a "I'll lose no more than this, and that's it" button, or else you'll just rely on luck when your head heats up.
