Just read the news about Kendra Lust being accused by the SEC related to the TRX endorsement in 2021, and I feel quite surprised. She is a former nurse, then switched to the adult entertainment industry, and now got involved in this crypto scandal.
According to the allegations, Kendra Lust received $955 to promote TRX to over 1.5 million followers on Twitter without disclosing this payment. There are even claims that Tron provided the exact wording for the tweet but did not reveal the financial arrangement. Kendra Lust promoted TRX as an optimal choice due to its speed and affordability.
Anything is fine, but what interests me is transparency and ethics in crypto endorsements. How many others have been influenced by such schemes without anyone knowing? So far, both Tron representatives and Kendra Lust have remained silent, not commenting at all.
This case really impacts trust within the crypto community. When public figures endorse without disclosure, it undermines the credibility of the entire industry. People should be more cautious when following recommendations from influencers.
