I just looked at an update of the world's richest people rankings and noticed some interesting things. Musk is still in first place with 444 billion, followed by Bezos with 244. It's fascinating how the top 100 richest people in the world are dominated by Americans, but you also see some names from Asia that are steadily growing. Adani and Ambani from India are already in the top 20, and Zhang Yiming from ByteDance has risen dramatically.
What surprised me is that in the top 100 richest people in the world, you find an interesting mix — tech moguls, retail magnates, and even some names from the natural resources industry. Gates is in 7th place with 160 billion, and Buffett is in 10th with 142. If you look more closely, you see how wealth is concentrated — the top 10 together have about 2 trillion.
The most interesting part? The geographic diversity. We have French, Germans, Chinese, Indians, Brazilians — it's clear that money is being made everywhere now, not just in Silicon Valley. This ranking quite accurately reflects how the global economy has changed in recent years.
