Guys, I just learned about the strange story with the number 42777 on Telegram. It turns out someone online spread a rumor that if you add this number to your profile, your account supposedly upgrades to premium. Sounds like a joke, but the problem is — people actually tried it and got blocked.

The point is, +42777 is the official number of Telegram itself, and if you include it in your biography, the system perceives it as an attempt to impersonate the official account. The system triggers and bans the profile. Not a premium version, but a ban.

I don’t know who first came up with this joke about an upgrade, but it spread across social media and really misled some people. If you have 42777 in your profile — delete it immediately. It won’t lead to any upgrade, only problems. I’ve already seen several posts from people who lost access to their accounts because of this.
