Just realized how many people in crypto don't actually know what 1K, 1M, and 1B mean. Saw someone confused about this on Discord yesterday, so figured I'd share a quick breakdown.

Let's start with 1K. That K stands for kilo, basically means thousand. So when you see 1K it's 1,000. Pretty straightforward right? 10K is 10,000, 100K is 100,000. You'll see this all the time when people talk about price targets or market movements.

Then there's Million. 1M equals 1,000,000 - that's a thousand thousands if you think about it that way. 5M is 5 million, 10M is 10 million. Most people get this one pretty quickly.

Now Billion is where it gets bigger. 1B means 1,000,000,000 - literally a thousand millions. When we talk about market caps for major projects, we're usually dealing with billions at this point.

Here's the simple cheat sheet if you need it:
1K = 1,000
1M = 1,000,000
1B = 1,000,000,000

Why does this matter? If you're trading, checking market caps, following social media, or analyzing crypto projects, you'll run into these numbers constantly. Understanding them properly helps you avoid making dumb decisions based on misreading a number. Like seriously, the difference between 1M and 1B market cap is huge, but people mix them up all the time. Once you lock in what these mean, reading market data becomes way easier.
