Recently, screenshots of "whales entering the market" on the blockchain have been flying everywhere. I also get the itch to follow, but before taking action, I still need to think clearly: Is this building a position, or are they hedging with spot/perpetuals? Sometimes, it looks like they’ve opened a large position, but actually the other side has already locked in the risk. Followers only see half of the picture, which is like removing your seatbelt for safety.

The attention rotation for memes and celebrity calls is too fast this wave. Basically, it’s whoever can grab the spotlight better... I occasionally envy others for their luck in hitting trending topics, but seasoned players advising newcomers not to take the last step is really not just for show. Anyway, I now prefer to do fewer trades, waiting until funding rates and position structures aren’t so tangled before acting. For now, that’s how it is.
