I just got the itch again to chase that big green candle, but I paused for three seconds with my hand on the confirm button and asked myself: am I really seeing some information, or am I just being pushed along by the candlestick and the group’s sentiment... Honestly, it’s often the latter. Recently, cross-chain bridges have been hacked again, and oracles are showing abnormal quotes. Everyone rushing to "wait for confirmation" is actually quite reasonable, and I’ve learned my lesson. I just casually checked on-chain: the TVL of a new bridge suddenly doubled, but the new addresses didn’t keep up, and there were a bunch of small transactions back and forth, feeling like data manipulation. Anyway, now when I want to add to my position, I first split it into smaller parts, keep a screenshot + transaction hash as a record, and wait until my impulse passes. That’s it for now.
