U.S. stock futures: SanDisk drops about 5%, Western Digital falls about 7%

Mars Finance news: according to Gate market data, ahead of the U.S. stock market open, SanDisk (SNDK.O) fell by about 5%, while Western Digital (WDC.O) dropped by about 7%. Both companies’ guidance came in far above expectations, but analysts noted that the strong performance has already been fully priced in, and that the guidance “lacks enough surprises.” Apple (AAPL.O) rose by about 3%. In the last quarter, revenue in China continued to grow at double-digit rates, iPhone revenue hit a new high for the same period, and this quarter’s revenue guidance was unexpectedly strong.
