Tonight I saw that kind of “coincidental transfer” on-chain again: A just bought, B immediately followed, and within the same time window there were also a few small “probe” transactions mixed in. In the past, I’d get startled too—thinking, could this be insider information? Later, I forced myself to break down the path: first, check whether it’s the same source of funds splitting (withdrawn from the same hot wallet/exchange); then, see whether there’s a fixed collection address acting as a “transfer hub” in the middle; and finally, compare gas usage habits and the last digits of the transfer amounts. A lot of this is simply bots running batch tasks, or the project team/market maker’s funds moving around like moving house.

To be blunt, there isn’t that much mysticism on-chain. If something can be explained, explain it first. Recently, meme coins plus celebrity call-outs have been getting hot again, and new users always ask, “Should I follow?” What I want to say now is: don’t rush to take the last step—first figure out the transfer path clearly before you act. At least make it so that even if you end up losing, you can truly be convinced and accept it wholeheartedly. Stay calm.
