Abstract generation in progress

Gold Financial Reports, May 1st, OpenAI President Greg Brockman stated at a recent Sequoia Capital event that AI programming tools are rapidly evolving, shifting from auxiliary development tools to the core productivity in software development. Currently, AI code generation capabilities have increased from “handling about 20% of coding tasks” to “completing approximately 80% of code,” meaning AI is transitioning from a peripheral tool to a dominant force in the development process. OpenAI’s internal code generation tools like Codex have expanded from being tools for software engineers to serving “anyone working with computers,” but at this stage, OpenAI still requires all submitted code to be reviewed and approved by humans to avoid the risks associated with full automation.
