Stop-loss really is like a breakup; dragging it out without clear communication, in the end, it’s not about turning back to sweetness, but about interest and emotions spiraling together. I used to love “waiting a bit longer,” but it only led to a waterfall of liquidation, with that little bit of regret on the books magnified into real gold and silver losses, which is pretty stupid anyway. Now, when I see my positions starting to look off, I’d rather admit defeat and withdraw first, sleep more peacefully, and review with a sip of almond milk without feeling guilty.

Recently, someone also linked ETF capital flows, U.S. stock risk appetite, and crypto market rises and falls into one interpretation. Honestly, it sounds very reasonable, but when volatility hits, liquidity shrinks, parameters change, and no one cares which story you listened to. My biggest fear isn’t slow movement, but chaos — slow can still follow the plan, but when it’s chaotic, it all depends on luck. For now, living longer is better than anything else.
