Just woke up and saw another bunch of social mining/points tasks, and I’m really a bit exhausted… To be honest, many badges are just screenshots of “you’ve been here,” and no one dares to guarantee whether they will be redeemed in the end. Recently, Layer 2 projects have started competing over TPS, fees, and subsidies, causing a lot of noise, but I care more about the details on the chain: large addresses are not just a one-shot all-in, but more about transferring in batches, changing routes, circling around, and then entering exchanges, which is not in the same logic as “posting more and interacting more.”

I’m setting a rule for myself now: do the tasks if it’s easy, forget about it if it’s not, don’t waste time for a string of points. On-chain traces are more reliable than badges when it comes to identity. Anyway, I’d rather take a second look at inflows and outflows than be reminded every day to “check in.”
