Floating losses are really noisier than floating gains when it comes to sleep. To put it plainly, it’s not like the money is truly gone—it's that your mind keeps filling in the storyline: Should I cut? Will it rebound? Was I just careless back then… Even though it’s only a string of numbers on a screen, my heartbeat feels like it’s still paying off a debt. On the other hand, floating gains feel light and weightless; you always think, “It doesn’t count until it hits your pocket,” and the excitement doesn’t last long.

Recently, I’ve been looking into social mining and the whole “attention is mining” setup with fan tokens, and I can’t help but connect it to this: when prices rise, everyone gets loud and energized; when they drop, attention immediately turns into an instrument of torture—one quick scroll and your mindset collapses. Anyway, now I’ll cut my position down a bit. I’d rather miss out than let one floating loss break apart my entire evening. Talk again next time
