Reply to the half-sentence "Is multi-signature too heavy...": It depends on how much money you currently have that would keep you awake at night. My habit is layered: for small daily amounts, a hardware wallet is enough, just to have the peace of mind of holding the keys; when it comes to the level where "losing it would cause an explosion of mental state," I prefer multi-signature instead, to lock down impulsive transactions, requiring approval from several people/devices before transferring, so I don’t get itchy at night watching K-line charts. Social recovery is quite suitable for those afraid of losing their seed phrase, but honestly, it’s about trusting people—choosing friends who are "reliable but not involved in your assets" is more difficult than technical solutions. The recent NFT royalty debate also feels similar: everyone wants to maximize income, liquidity, and freedom at the same time, but the reality is you have to sacrifice something... Anyway, I choose tools based on scale first, don’t start with the most complicated right away.
