BlockBeats News, May 1st, U.S. Federal Prosecutor Jeanine Pirro posted edited surveillance footage of Trump’s shooting incident on the X platform. The video shows the perpetrator, Cole Allen, shooting a Secret Service agent while attempting to assassinate the president at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Pirro explicitly denies that the Secret Service personnel were injured due to friendly fire. The video also presents footage of Allen scouting the gym area and corridor at the Washington Hilton Hotel the day before, “checking the scene.”

After the shooting incident, there has been controversy among the public regarding the U.S. Secret Service’s security response, including issues such as multiple alert dogs detecting anomalies but not being heeded, and several personnel on site responding slowly.

U.S. Secret Service Director Shawn Cullen previously stated that Allen was not subdued by gunfire from the Secret Service but was tripped by a box equipped with a metal detector as he ran past the checkpoint outside the venue. Cullen also confirmed that none of the five shots fired by Secret Service agents at Allen hit him.
