News channels start selling "probabilities"? Fox's move turns gossip into betting
If one day you watch the news, not just to see "what happened," but also casually see "the probability of this event occurring," would you be more hooked?
The collaboration between Fox Corporation and Kalshi essentially upgrades the "spectator" to a "probability observer." It used to be experts arguing; now, the market provides the answer.
It sounds very rational, but actually it's more exciting. Because once probabilities are visualized, viewers are no longer passive recipients of information but begin to "participate in judgment." It’s almost like: watching the news while mentally placing bets.
The key point of this is not the data itself, but the shift in "narrative authority." Who defines the future? No longer just the media, but the market.
But the question also arises: when news becomes a "story with probabilities," will people become more rational, or more easily swayed by emotions?
After all, numbers seem objective, but behind them is still human nature in trading. #比特币现货交易量新低
