Last night, I checked the blockchain and found an old address, with the position borrowing quite high, and the liquidation line just "three steps" away from the current price... My brain immediately sounded the alarm. To put it simply, being this close to the red line, the first thing is not to pray for a rebound, but to move the red line further away: repay some debt, add some collateral, or simply reduce the position, don’t hold on stubbornly. The second thing is to set up automation properly, don’t wait until midnight to scramble, as a large slippage would be even worse.
In the group these days, there’s been talk about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and even “de-pegging” rumors, making everyone more anxious, but I actually want to reduce leverage even more... When emotions are at their peak, it’s easiest to make mistakes.
Anyway, I set a rule for myself: act when three steps away from the red line, don’t wait for it to knock—if it really knocks, there won’t even be time to broadcast.
