On May 1, Anthropic’s Claude announced that its code security tool, Claude Security, has entered public beta testing for Claude Enterprise users. The official statement indicates that Claude Security can scan code repositories for security vulnerabilities, perform secondary validation on detection results to reduce false positives, and automatically generate remediation plans for developers to review and approve. Anthropic claims that this tool does not require API integration or custom agents, allowing users to directly utilize Claude Opus 4.7 for code security audits. Since the research preview was released in February of this year, hundreds of organizations have been using Claude Security in production environments and have identified issues overlooked by traditional scanners. Based on user feedback, the team has added features such as scheduled scanning, directory-level scanning, CSV/Markdown export, and Webhook notifications.
