TRM Labs Says North Korean Groups Drove 76% of 2026 Crypto Hack Losses Through April
TRM Labs said North Korean groups accounted for 76% of crypto hack losses through April after two 2026 attacks stole about $577 million. The losses came from the $285 million Drift Protocol exploit and the roughly $292 million KelpDAO bridge hack. Carrot later said it will shut down and set May 14 as the withdrawal deadline for users after fallout from the Drift exploit.
