Someone asked me whether PFPs and memberships are really long-term value or just short-term attention. I don’t have a standard answer either… but for now, I’d rather think of them as “brand mind deposits”: if you’re truly working in a circle/community long-term and you’re consistently seen, then PFPs/memberships are just tickets and badges—not protective charms. On the other hand, if you only rely on changing profile pictures and using airdrop incentives, the excitement may be exciting, but attention fades quickly too.

Recently, hardware wallets have been out of stock, and phishing links are also increasingly prevalent—this actually reminds me: no matter how strong your “identity” is, if you can’t do security and self-control, it’s all for nothing. To put it simply, I only have two things: don’t let your positions be taken over by emotions, and pause for three seconds before signing to check the domain name. That’s it for now.
