Lately, I've been wanting to remind myself: stop, observe, and pause. Everyone is fixated on "on-chain," but the string of transactions you see on your phone is actually fed layer by layer by nodes/RPC/indexers. Even if a service gets stuck, reorganizes, or the indexer hasn't caught up yet, what you see is "delayed reality." These days, some people interpret large on-chain transfers and hot/cold wallet movements on exchanges as smart money... To put it simply, I'm more concerned about whether what you're seeing is the latest real-time data or just cached, delayed, and second-hand processed information. Anyway, when I encounter such signals now, I pause first, wait until several sources match, and prefer to miss out rather than act prematurely.
