These days, the group is again sharing screenshots of "a certain stablecoin losing its peg" and "reserve audits being opaque," causing panic... But honestly, what really kicks you off the cliff isn't usually rumors, but the oracle price feed being slow or stuck. You think your position is still safe, but the on-chain price has already changed. Price feed delay = liquidation threshold still based on the old price, and when it updates, the price drops directly, triggering a series of liquidations, leaving no time for you to manually add collateral. Especially when liquidity is thin, a sudden price jump, combined with a slow oracle, makes liquidation inevitable. Now, before I leverage, I first check: which oracle provider is used, update frequency, and whether there are backup sources; for pools related to stablecoins, I’m more cautious—better to earn less than get "delayed" and learn the hard way. That’s it for now, continuing to watch the market with my coffee.
